Whether you’ve seen it before or it’s your first time, it’s the perfect film for photography and adventure lovers alike.   We’ll have snacks, good company, and a great atmosphere for an easygoing social night with the club. Try something new by joining the CPC... on the River!    While it is always fun to take photos on the land on your own two feet, the Curtin Photography Club has an exciting opportunity to take photos from a slightly different perspective! With the help of the Curtin University Boat Club, you will be on the water before sunrise on the stunning Canning River. Once there, you'd be ready to capture the sunrise, birdlife and landscape shots of the water - an amazing way to start off your Sunday!   ⏰ Sunday 17th May, 6:40–8:10 AM. 📸 Time to level-up your photos with CPC’s second Workshop! 📸 Have you ever taken a photo that looked great on your camera, but felt like it was missing something afterwards? Join us for CPC’s second workshop focused on Adobe Lightroom photo editing and learn how to bring your images to life! This hands-on session will guide members through simple editing techniques to enhance their photos using Adobe Lightroom. We’ll cover the basics of photo editing, colour grading, lighting adjustments, masking, cropping, and creating a clean final look for your images. Whether you’re completely new to editing or looking to refine your skills, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn, improve your photos, and get feedback from fellow club members. If you already have a laptop with Adobe Lightroom installed, feel free to bring it along. Otherwise, Lightroom will be available to use on the computers in the room during the workshop. 📸 CPC's second Click and Chill of the year is arriving! 📸 If you enjoyed our last Click and Chill (or weren't able to make it), then get excited! If you are looking to meet up with fellow photographers, explore the city, enjoy a sunset picnic, or looking to destress, join us for our second photowalk & picnic at the lively Elizabeth Quay! 🌇 Just south of the Perth CBD, Elizabeth Quay is the perfect location for: Capturing Perth's architecture - both new and old. Shots of a waterfront precinct with bustling venues, jetties and boats.  Exploring green spaces dotted amongst the city. We will cover topics such as buying cameras, the exposure triangle, basic composition and basic lighting skills, with fun activities to test your new knowledge!
